Digital Forensics Sr. Specialist

Job Description

Concentrix Corporation is seeking an experienced Digital Forensic Computer Examiner/Enterprise Digital Forensic Incident Response (DFIR) Sr. Specialist to join the Global Security team, reporting to the DFIR Manager – Global Security Threat Operations and Countermeasures. The DFIR group is a function of the Concentrix SIRT and part of the larger Global Cybersecurity Threat Operations and Countermeasures team.

We are looking to add a self-motivated professional to our Digital Forensics & Investigations Team. The team is committed to protecting the Concentrix brand, our employees, and our clients. As a digital forensic professional at Concentrix, you will help protect our networks by working with cybersecurity experts and insider risk investigators on threat protection and proactive prevention.

Responsibilities

The Digital Forensics Sr. Specialist is a mid-level position supervised by the Forensic Manager or an appointed Manager within the Concentrix DFIR/SIRT team. The role includes supporting forensic data acquisition, verification, documentation, investigation, and reporting. Key duties include:

  1. Perform forensic evidence collection (on-site and remotely), digital evidence preservation, and maintain chain of custody.
  2. Ensure defensible and repeatable collection and preservation of electronically stored information (ESI).
  3. Provide comprehensive analysis on digital evidence across networks, workstations, servers, mobile platforms, and logging solutions (SIEMs, DLP, AAA, etc.).
  4. Document and generate examination reports to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations when needed.
  5. Assist in developing, documenting, and improving digital forensic policies, processes, and SOPs.
  6. Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders, including legal, HR, insider threat, incident response, and cybersecurity teams.
  7. Stay updated on emerging digital forensic trends, technologies, and techniques.
  8. Evaluate, test, recommend, and integrate new electronic discovery and computer forensic tools and technologies.
  9. Develop creative solutions to problems to perform critical tasks successfully.
  10. Communicate findings effectively to senior team members and stakeholders.
Accountability
  • Support investigators by providing expert research and forensic analysis for internal investigations, insider threat assessments, and security inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with digital forensic policies and guidelines.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for service delivery, working independently with minimal guidance and collaboratively with the team.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize follow-up activities with a rigorous process.
  • Handle highly sensitive confidential material with integrity and discretion.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required.
