The Opportunity

Shape the future of payment security at a global industry leader.

In the dynamic and rapidly evolving payment services industry, we're seeking a senior Information Security Officer to join Worldline Financial Services (FS). This pivotal role demands expertise in payment security and regulatory compliance, where you'll strengthen our robust information security framework that protects sensitive payment data while ensuring compliance within international standards. Beyond conventional security, you'll integrate security and compliance seamlessly across our business processes, making a meaningful impact on our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Security Leadership
  2. Lead security strategy and maintain security posture for one (or multiple) Worldline FS divisions
  3. Provide regular security updates to management and coordinate division-wide security initiatives
  4. Foster a culture of continuous security improvement throughout the organization
  5. Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to implement security measures that protect assets while enabling business efficiency
  1. Compliance & Regulatory Management
  2. Navigate complex regulatory frameworks including NBB regulations, GDPR, PCI DSS, DORA, and NIS2
  3. Coordinate regulatory and customer audits, ensuring identified risks are properly mitigated
  4. Partner with compliance officers to develop and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  5. Interpret and implement regulatory and card scheme mandates, translating requirements into actionable procedures
  1. Risk & Incident Management
  2. Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and implement effective risk management strategies
  3. Lead incident response efforts, including assessment, coordination, containment, and recovery
  4. Work closely with DevOps teams and second-line defence colleagues (security, risk, internal control)
  5. Review and align security policies across WL FS in response to evolving threats and technologies
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  2. Align security requirements with IT and business units to support organizational objectives
  3. Partner with compliance, risk, and business continuity teams on regulatory implementation
  4. Engage with other teams to ensure security policies reflect the latest payment security regulations

What We're Looking For

  • Experience & Education
  • ~5+ years of cybersecurity experience, with significant expertise in payment services industry
  • Minimum 2 years in an information security officer role
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
  • MBA or business management qualification (desirable)
  • Technical Expertise
  • Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or PCI-P
  • Extensive knowledge of NBB regulatory circulars
  • Strategic cybersecurity management experience in complex payment environments (point-of-sale systems, online payments, mobile platforms)
  • Strong business acumen balancing security requirements with customer experience
  • Leadership & Communication
  • Proven leadership capability guiding diverse teams across multiple jurisdictions
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex security concepts
  • Fluency in English and French
