THE OPPORTUNITY:

VelocityEHS is accepting Co-op/Intern student applicants able to work 40 hours per week between September and December 2025 for approximately 14-16 weeks.

This is a remote opportunity and is open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States or Canada. An option to work in a hybrid capacity out of our Oakville, ON or Ann Arbor, MI facilities is also available for interested candidates.

Our Customer Experience (CX) Interns collaborate with multiple teams within the department, including Services, Success, Support, and more. You will contribute to the department's objectives through project work aimed at streamlining processes, executing deliverables, and bridging gaps between teams. You may also support cross-departmental initiatives with Sales, Product, Development, and Marketing to gain broad exposure.

We seek interns with a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, excellent people skills, attention to detail, and a drive to execute efficiently. During the internship, you will work alongside a mentor, a manager, and other interns, with opportunities to give presentations, manage projects, and set personal goals. You will undergo onboarding and performance reviews similar to a full-time role and have access to Managers, Directors, and VPs.

Typical weekly activities include managing various projects and deadlines, with work ranging from independent to collaborative and short-term to long-term. Past projects have included contributing to the customer Help Center, engaging with customers during User Conference campaigns, maintaining chemical management lists, and testing ergonomic technology.

This position offers remote or hybrid work options, with offices in Oakville, Ontario, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. If you are collaborative, positive, detail-oriented, and interested, consider applying.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field such as Kinesiology, Engineering, Public and Occupational Health, Safety, or Environmental Science.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, thorough, and attentive to detail.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge or experience in Software or Environmental, Health & Safety industries is a plus.
  • Previous internship or work experience related to the role is preferred.
