About the role
Main responsibilities :
- Implements the company's sales policy in its geographical area, working closely with the intern sales teams.
- Follow up and develop the sales with current and new customers.
- Participate to set up the right sales policy (including budget proposals)
- Provide made-to-measure offers to each customer and initiate the development of new products.
- Respect and apply the health and safety rules defined by the safety policy and internal regulations in place.
- Depending on the needs of the group, may be asked to carry out additional tasks.
- Apply the company price policy.
- Follow up current customers
- Prospection and find out about the market potential
- Target potential customers in line with the sales strategy
- Analyze customer needs and identify levers to take advantage of
- Participates in the development of technical solutions
- Build commercial offers
- Negotiate in line with the price policy
- Provide technical assistance / deals with complaints
- Manages customer portfolio in line with the objectives set by the management
- Propose an annual budget and submit it to the Sales Manager for approval
- Carry out day-to-day management in close collaboration with the inside sales team
- Carry out common sale actions with cross-functional departments
- Keep a record of his / her activity in the CRM
- Prepare and proposes responses to tenders
- Take part in the group's continuous improvement working sessions / participate in the Commercial Excellence projects
Quality :
- Ensure that the Quality Management System (QMS) respond to the customer needs, requirements and satisfaction.
- Apply the Management's Quality policy and the rules and procedures defined in the documentation system
- Take part in progress initiatives to improve quality and reduce customer complaints
- Implement the corrective actions and improvement programs
Health & Safety :
- Apply the management's hygiene policy and the rules and procedures defined in the documentation system
- Take part in identifying and controlling risks, and in improving the workplace hygiene management system
- Apply management's safety policy and the rules and procedures defined in the documentation system
- Participate in identifying and controlling the risks and improving the occupational health and safety management system
- Is committed to respect and apply the highway code
About you
Education & Certifications :
- Business school diplomas, Masters
- Other diplomas with solid experience + 10 years
Experience & Specific job requirements :
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position in other packaging companies
- 10 years' experience in selling non-standard products
- To be familiar with paper and corrugated board manufacturing processes, as well as printing processes
- Solid experience in leading Sales teams
- Ability to meet and / or exceed objectives (volume, margin, targets)
- Strong negotiations skill
- Autonomy (ability to organise and take initiatives)
- Open-mindedness, good interpersonal skills, enjoyment of human contact
- Ability to listen, ability to work in a team, availability
- Fluency in an export language (English, German)
