Your role with us :

Our client seeks to hire a network engineer.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage campus LAN / WiFi infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN / WiFi networks to meet performance and reliability standards.
• Monitor and optimize network performance for seamless user connectivity.
• Implement and support network solutions to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Innovation and Technology Development :

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging LAN / WiFi technologies.
• Lead evaluation, implementation, and integration of innovative LAN / WiFi solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design network solutions aligned with business objectives.

Visibility and Performance Optimization :

• Implement tools and strategies for real-time monitoring of network performance.
• Analyze network data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimizations.
• Proactively resolve network issues to maintain optimal performance.

Security and Compliance :

• Work with security teams to implement robust network security measures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate security risks.

Missions / Activities :

• Follow up on action plans and backlogs.
• Coordinate crisis and escalation meetings and task forces.
• Validate operational plans.
• Manage the lifecycle of LAN / WiFi infrastructures and solutions.

Technical Environment :

• LAN / WiFi (Switching / Routing / Segmentation): Cisco Meraki
• Monitoring, Alerting, and Log Management: Icinga, Grafana, Kibana
• Security: Checkpoint, Fortinet, Zscaler ZIA / ZPA
• Automation & Orchestration: Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Jenkins
