Job Description:

Summary:

We are looking to expand our database of linguists to work on projects for our clients in the Travel & Tourism sector.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on translation and proofreading projects within the travel and tourism industry. Other relevant experience in the tourism field is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate and proofread various document types based on subject matter expertise.
2. Ensure translated documents accurately reflect the original source.
3. Maintain disciplined operational procedures across different client projects.
4. Track project-specific non-conformances and resolutions.
5. Perform project QA steps personally.
6. Utilize all appropriate supplemental materials (client PAQ, reference materials, glossaries) consistently throughout projects.
7. Take responsibility for any errors or omissions in projects they are involved in.

Required Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and French.
• Experience in French to Japanese translation within the Travel & Tourism sector.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Satisfactory results on company tests.
• Minimum passing grade on relevant foreign language tests, as applicable.
