For a large-scale infrastructure project in the public sector, we are currently looking for an experienced IT architect - focusing on cloud technologies, network concepts, and automation. Remote work share: approx. 80%, with presence by arrangement in northern Germany.

1. Elicitation of technical requirements and creation of technical concepts
2. Design of modular IT architectures - from high-level concepts to operational design
3. Evaluation of existing architecture specifications and development of optimized structures
4. Development of reusable architecture components for future projects
5. Support in the technical implementation and productive introduction of new infrastructure components
6. Quality assurance regarding architectural principles, guidelines, and standards

Your profile

• Sound professional experience in the design and implementation of IT infrastructures
• Good knowledge in several areas: Network, Server, Cloud, Security, Storage, Middleware, Identity & Access Management
• Strong skills in software-defined networking (SDN), infrastructure automation, and cloud-native architectures
• Analytical thinking, a structured working style, and a good sense for technical contexts
• Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and professionalism
• Fluency in written and spoken German
