Your missions :

The Industrial Buyer oversees indirect purchases related to industrial sites, including commodities such as: consumables (industrial, laboratory, shipping), maintenance, Quality Control Laboratory subcontracting activities, and facility management.
You will report to the Industrial Purchaser and France Purchasing Manager. You oversee industrial purchases for the three French sites.

The main objectives will be to :

• Improve the purchasing maturity of some commodities, especially consumables.
• Find optimization levers on consumables: standardization, new sources, etc.
• Participate in business continuity improvement: sourcing, contracts, supply setups, challenge internal needs and specifications, find alternatives & equivalences.
• Bring purchasing added value to French industrial campuses:
  o Work with local controlling to get accurate, consolidated data and budget.
  o Get involved in the budget process at the right time and level.
  o Monitor deviations/gaps vs. budget.
  o Set up and contribute to savings initiatives.
• Build a risk assessment approach adapted to the scopes.
• Manage operational purchasing and guarantee the proper use of purchasing processes.
• Contribute to the organization of events toward local Purchasing Initiatives (Salon des Achats).

Your profile :

Position: Master's Student (Master 1 or 2)

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in Master 1 program (preferred).
