Qualifications

Description du poste

The Technical Services Representative is responsible for providing technical support to Packaging Customers for the Beverage business in the assigned geographical region.

In this role, you will ensure customer quality and service expectations are consistently met; eliminate or reduce customer complaints.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of field-based experience.
  • Skills in solving technical problems in both the field and lab/service center.
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Team player.
  • Knowledge of packaging application techniques.
  • Metal coating experience.
  • Packaging industry experience.
  • Quick and independent problem-solving abilities.
  • Travel Requirements: 80%
Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer operations to solve problems, coordinate project work, or implement technology.
  • Manage product trials at designated customer facilities.
  • Troubleshoot on-line technical problems.
  • Advise customers of product line changes and improvements.
  • Maintain customer technical service issues on file for follow-up.
  • Train customers on product knowledge and application methods.
  • Handle customer complaints within lines of authority and manage processes to resolution.
  • Assist with equipment installations and various line or equipment modifications/adjustments.
  • Maintain contact with laboratory on current technical issues.
  • Support laboratory in evaluating samples when required.
  • Provide correct technical information on projects to technicians, chemists/engineers, customers, or other groups as required.
  • Communicate extended product knowledge in Packaging technology.
  • Support specification/product recommendation approval processes.
  • Maintain expertise in product finishes, equipment use, and surface preparation.
  • In conjunction with Projects Manager and Market Manager, develop, recommend, and implement solutions related to projects and product implementation.
