Job Description:

Join a dynamic company specializing in high value-added services and actively contribute to its development in Europe! As part of launching a new service offering, our client is seeking a Business Development Manager (H/F).

Your main mission will be to increase revenue by identifying new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with key sector players (pharma, biotech, medtech...).

Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development:
  2. Prospect new clients across Europe
  3. Make initial contacts, qualify leads, and initiate commercial relationships
  4. Arrange client meetings and understand their scientific and technical needs
  5. Present company services and develop tailored proposals
  6. Negotiate offers and close contracts
  7. Participate in trade shows and professional events to enhance visibility
Market Monitoring & Strategy:
  1. Analyze market potential, identify trends and opportunities
  2. Monitor competitors and client needs, contribute to evolving the service offering
  3. Provide regular sales activity reports
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  1. Work closely with technical experts and internal teams to ensure project feasibility
  2. Support the sales administration team in preparing quotes
  3. Relay opportunities outside your scope
Client Relations:
  1. Maintain trusting relationships with clients throughout project execution
  2. Anticipate future needs and ensure post-project follow-up
Candidate Profile:

Education & Experience:

  • Scientific degree (Master or PhD) in biotechnology, pharmacy, biology, or life sciences
  • Minimum 5 years experience in business development in areas such as central lab, testing, CRO, preclinical, clinical development, CMC, toxicology, medical devices, regulatory/medical affairs
  • Experience internationally or in multicultural environments is appreciated

Languages: Fluent English (regular communication with international clients)
