Job Description

The Dunkerque Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Arts, divided into two hubs, hosts 950 students, with an additional 1,100 students in schools, supported by a team of 60 teachers. The institution is currently classified as CRC and is considering applying for the status of Departmental Radiating Conservatory. The establishment emphasizes collective practices from the beginning of learning and openness to various aesthetics, based on a project-driven approach.

Under the authority of the director, you will be responsible for teaching the double bass and contributing to the implementation of the territorial cultural strategy.

Daily Missions

Teaching the Double Bass

• Teaching double bass to various audiences (individual or group lessons).
• Monitoring, guiding, and evaluating students under your charge.
• Participating in the pedagogical dynamics of the conservatory and the implementation of the establishment's project.

Participation in Artistic Approach and Territorial Artistic Animation

• Proposing and developing pedagogical and artistic projects for students and audiences.
• Participating in the cultural life of the institution and contributing to the artistic animation of the territory.
• Supporting and developing collective practices within the conservatory and the Dunkerque amateur orchestra.
• Supervising practices for cycle 1 and the cadet orchestra.
