About the Role

This role is a site administrator position in our Paris Office. The role involves support for all sites in Paris, administration of local Linux servers, and support for the global Linux server team.

What You Will Do:
  • Ensure desktop support processes and procedures are followed
  • Manage incidents and service requests until resolution
  • Handle end-user escalations effectively and involve DSS lead as necessary
  • Route tickets to appropriate support groups
  • Identify and escalate high-priority, high-severity issues
  • Update tickets with timely and accurate information
  • Follow up with end users and support groups for ticket closure
  • Create and upload knowledge articles
  • Support ISG projects, ensuring deliverables are met
  • Provide support to power users locally and remotely, resolving high-priority issues
  • Provide desktop support for Microsoft XP, Windows 7-10, MS Office, MS Exchange, and related applications
  • Support network troubleshooting, IP, DHCP, DNS, cabling, patching, and mobile device support
  • Assist network, security, server admin, telephony teams, and handle ad hoc activities
What You Need to Be Successful
  • 5+ years of experience
  • High level of Linux expertise
  • Knowledge of computer, laptop, printer, scanner troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of anti-virus clients, internet proxy, patch management
  • Strong understanding of MS Exchange and operating systems (XP, Win 7-10)
  • Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, self-motivated
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations and support migration issues
  • Experience in end-user services and environment management
  • Good interpersonal skills and troubleshooting knowledge
