JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing consistent education programs for internal and external audiences (ECP, WHS, and retails) as a Vision Care Education Expert within Leonardo, EssilorLuxottica Learning Platform. This includes eye and vision care, clinical practice management, ophthalmic lens technologies, categories, and brands to ensure the adoption of innovations by ECPs.
  • Supporting the launch of new products, innovations, categories, brands, and business priorities through educational initiatives.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

  • Create and evolve interactive learning experiences and tailored curricula for Optometrists, Opticians, and Sales Associates.
  • Contribute to the go-to-market plan by delivering timely educational B2B assets.
  • Identify educational needs, manage innovation pipelines, and align with global and regional business needs.
  • Build internal and external partnerships, ensuring compliance with regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Define educational objectives from a technical, scientific, and clinical perspective.
  • Design engaging educational assets that differentiate Leonardo’s offerings.
  • Create high-quality, scientifically accurate, and non-promotional educational materials on vision care, products, and brands.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, agencies, and consultants to deliver results within guidelines, budgets, and timelines.
  • Align educational assets with Leonardo’s brand strategy and guidelines.
  • Establish KPIs to measure program impact and benchmark against industry standards.
  • Leverage latest technologies for innovative educational programs.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Proven experience in project or product management in a complex environment.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in optometry or optics; marketing education is a plus.
  • Experience in managing international, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Knowledge of digital learning tools (Articulate, video, LMS) and adult learning principles.
  • Successful team collaboration and project management skills.
  • Fluent in business and technical English.
  • Experience in the optical industry.
  • Results-oriented with a customer focus and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Innovative, positive, and collaborative attitude.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
