Description du poste

NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called : Support to align Ukrainian legislation, policies and institutions with EU acquis in agriculture and rural development (IPRSA III) and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is to contribute to a resilient, more inclusive, sustainable and competitive growth-oriented agricultural sector that secures fair rural incomes and investment capacities and respects the environment.

Duration : The intended start date is no later than 1 September 2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 40 months from this date.

Key Expert : Senior ARD expert

Qualifications and skills :

• At least a Master's Degree (or equivalent) in agriculture, agriculture economics or directly related discipline, or bachelor in the same field plus four years of relevant professional experience, or in the absence of a relevant University degree eight years of relevant professional experience;
• Advanced English language skills of at least level C1 (understanding, speaking, writing) required. Language skills in Ukrainian or Russian of at least B2 (understanding, speaking, writing) will be considered an asset.

General professional experience :

• At least 10 years of professional experience relating to the definition or implementation of policy, development programmes, legislation, institutional reform or sectoral support programmes in the area of agriculture or rural development.

Specific professional experience :

• At least 3 years of professional experience at decentralised government level in support of the assessment, consultation, elaboration, implementation and monitoring of strategies, programmes or targeted policy interventions in the agricultural or rural sectors;
• At least 3 years of professional experience in supporting the development of agricultural extension / advisory systems, a FA / SDN or Geographical Indications (GIs) will be considered an asset;
• Recent experience (i.e. within the past ten (10) years) of participating in the implementation of technical assistance projects , each of minimum 12 months duration, in support to the implementation of EU acquis in the agriculture and rural development or fisheries and aquaculture sectors in EU candidate countries or EU Member States will be considered an asset.
