S&P Global Ratings is seeking an Economist to contribute to AI‑assisted macroeconomic scenario tools in the EMEA region. You will design econometric models, translate findings into actionable outputs, and collaborate with teams across Frankfurt, London, and Paris.
The role requires a Master’s in Economics or related field and 2–4 years of applied economics experience, with strong Python/R and ML exposure. English proficiency is essential; German or French is a plus. Office presence expected.
The EMEA Economist team is a focused group of four economists embedded across Frankfurt, London, and Paris, operating as part of a global economics practice of approximately 15 professionals. The team is distinguished by its commitment to rigorous quantitative analysis and its pioneering work at the intersection of macroeconomics and artificial intelligence. You will collaborate directly with the EMEA Chief Economist and the Head of Economic Modelling, contributing to high-visibility initiatives that shape how S&P Global delivers economic intelligence to global markets.
