Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our NextGen project team. In this role, you will design and oversee end-to-end solutions, ensuring alignment with the NextGen Architecture Blueprint and enterprise standards. You will work closely with enterprise architects, domain architects, and key stakeholders to drive architectural decisions that balance innovation, scalability, and business needs. Your ability to develop robust, future-proof solutions and provide technical leadership will be instrumental in the success of our NextGen initiatives. Main Responsibilities:

1. Design end-to-end eCommerce solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
2. Collaborate with business and product teams to translate eCommerce requirements into technical solutions.
3. Architect integrations between eCommerce platforms, payment gateways, ERP, PIM, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
4. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and industry best practices.
5. Define and document API strategies, microservices architecture, and cloud adoption for eCommerce solutions.
6. Support headless commerce and omnichannel strategies to enhance digital experiences.
7. Guide development teams in implementing solutions that align with architectural standards.
8. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data privacy regulations in eCommerce architectures.
9. Stay updated with emerging eCommerce trends and recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Professional qualification

1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on eCommerce platforms including headless commerce, microservices, and API-driven architectures.
3. Knowledge of payment processing, inventory management, and order fulfilment systems.
4. Strong understanding of SEO, site performance optimization, and personalization.

4. Enterprise Integration Patterns: Understanding of integration patterns and best practices for connecting various enterprise systems.
5. Software Development: Strong background in software development, including languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
6. DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation.
7. Security: Knowledge of security principles and practices, including data protection, encryption, and secure coding.
8. Data Management: Experience with data architecture, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and data integration techniques.
9. API Design: Expertise in designing and managing APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL.
10. Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing system performance, scalability, and reliability.
11. Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including cloud architecture and services.
12. Fluency in English—verbal and written.
