Résumé du poste

Nexans, within the Group Technical Department, seeks to strengthen its Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Product Environmental Profile (PEP) and ecodesign activities. You will act as a technical referent for LCA/PEP methodologies, environmental data management and related tools, supporting Nexans units worldwide in assessing and reducing the environmental footprint of products.

Location: Lyon. You hold an engineering degree or a Master’s degree in materials science, chemistry, environmental science

Qualifications

5+ years of LCA/EPD/PEP experience in industry or consultancy.
Familiar with LCA methodologies and PEP/EPD framework.
Able to use LCA software and related data management tools.
Knowledge of EN 15804+A2, IEC 63366 and PEP rules is a strong asset.
Strong written and oral communication in English.

Responsabilités

Continuously improving LCA/PEP methodologies in line with standards and customer expectations.
Managing and updating environmental databases with raw material and process data.
Supporting sites in development, verification and registration of PEPs.
Training plant teams and LCA/PEP contacts on methodologies and tools.
Collaborating with Sustainable Development, IT and other teams on tool enhancements.
