Description du poste

Samsara is looking for a smart, ambitious Sales Operations Analyst interested in helping steer a fast-growing IoT startup. Working closely with a senior management team that has successfully built and exited a billion-dollar business, you will help grow and scale our global revenue-generating operations, increase sales efficiency, and help develop new business processes. This is a multifaceted role where you will work cross-functionally with our sales team, finance, operations, marketing, and product teams. We are seeking people with a passion for helping others and who are eager to take on a variety of projects in a dynamic environment. Proven problem-solving and communication skills are required, and a quantitative or technical background is a big plus.

This position is based in France.

In this role you will :

  • Provide comprehensive sales operational support, including territory management, account and quote/opportunity management, and support case responses.
  • Quickly solve sales process pain points while developing long-term solutions.
  • Assist in handling upsell orders where applicable.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, redesign, or development of new processes/policies; develop operational metrics to identify business process issues and provide recommendations.
  • Oversee governance of all sales policies across a global sales team; run routine audits to verify compliance.
  • Assist with administering all sales systems, including SFDC, telephone queues, third-party software providers, and proprietary tools.
  • Assist with developing and leading training sessions as part of our new sales hire onboarding program.
  • Work cross-functionally with other process owners to ensure system changes align with business needs.
  • Help maintain key documentation regarding policies, sales processes, and requirements.
  • Handle projects independently from start to finish with strong organizational skills and business judgment.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and critical thinking skills to understand sales policies and processes at both company and individual levels.
  • Have previous experience with Salesforce in an administrator capacity.
  • Possess at least 2 years of experience in a sales operations role, preferably at a technology company with a sales team of 200+ people, or in similar growth or operations roles in a dynamic environment.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher; a focus in business, finance, economics, business, or engineering is a plus; an MBA is optional.
  • Be fluent in French and English.
