The Brandon Friendship Centre and Kokum's Early Enrichment Program is accepting applications for Early Childhood Educators II.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Diploma in Early Childhood Education with an ECE II (ECE application);
2. Friendly, easy going and approachable attitude;
3. Understand confidentiality concerns and issues;
4. Work well with others and independently;
5. Experience with emergent curriculum/Pedagogy planning;
6. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office: including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet;
7. Evidence of strong organization skills and ability to meet deadlines;
8. Evidence of effective communication skills;
9. Knowledge of Community resources;
10. Willingness to learn and explore different diversities and cultures;
11. Knowledge of the Daycare licensing, Health and Safety codes along with Fire Safety;
12. Have a genuine love for the care of children and knowledge on how to make them grow to be the best they can be!

Valid class 5 driver’s license required. Preference given to Aboriginal candidates.
