Ce rôle passionnant consiste à développer des canaux de distribution en Côte d'Ivoire, en dirigeant une équipe de vente dynamique et en établissant des relations solides avec des clients clés. Our client is a leading multinational company renowned for its pioneering role in specialty chemicals and adhesives that cater to the Construction industry. With global operations across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, the company is focused on maintaining a sustainable distribution channel within Africa. Due to the expansion of their business, they are currently seeking an Area Sales Director to develop their distribution channels in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will carry out the below duties:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the adhesives sector, targeting industrial and construction markets in the country.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the local sales team to meet performance targets.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on competitors, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and technical support teams to provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis for management.

Profil recherché

Minimum 10 years of experience as an Area Sales Director covering adhesives and paint chemicals in West Africa is required.
Excellent fluency in English & French is required.
Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing is a plus.
Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
Strong proven track record of selling adhesives within the geographic market in Ivory Coast is preferred.
Willingness to travel within the region as required.
