Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests. Set tables according to the type of event and service standards. Answer questions on menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability. Convey additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, etc., throughout the day. Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights. Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.
Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure a professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate professionally with colleagues. Develop positive relationships, support team goals, and respond to concerns appropriately. Adhere to quality standards. Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and manipulating objects as required. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
