Regulatory Senior Data Analyst - Your future position

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Fragrance & Beauty Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety (RAPS) team as a Regulatory Senior Data Analyst.

Set within the Global Regulatory Ingredients Compliance Strategy Centre of Excellence (CoE) and based in our offices in Argenteuil (FR), Baierbrunn (GE), Vernier (SW), Sao Paulo (BR), or East Hanover (USA).

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will help ensure global chemical compliance and classification for our natural extraction processes. This role combines data integrity management and regulatory registration, focusing on natural ingredients within the Fragrance & Beauty Division.

You will bring your knowledge to the team and translate it into a true business partnership. You will report to the Regulatory Affairs Director.

In this role, you will:
Regulatory Knowledge
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain documentation integrity by managing regulatory data on natural ingredients and associated compliance requirements within our systems.
  • Collaborate with operations to understand manufacturing processes and specifics related to multiple natural ingredients.
  • Oversee the registration of natural products, including analysis techniques like Substance Identification Profile (SIP), Gas Chromatography, MS, and IR methodologies.
Regulatory Partnership
  • Serve as the Regulatory Expert for natural ingredients.
  • Provide operational teams with regulatory insights and guidance, translating complex requirements into clear, relevant information to support informed decision-making and foster compliance culture.
Analytical Expertise
  • Acquire and analyze information to ensure product compliance on naturals.
  • Understand chemicals and naturals regulations and customer requirements to determine necessary changes for compliance.
  • Manage master data, develop reports, run audits, and contribute to regulatory strategy and business growth.
Global Project Management
  • Participate in global projects focused on regulatory data integrity for natural ingredients.
  • Contribute to solutions meeting regulatory and customer needs and support process improvements.

Your professional profile includes:
  • Advanced University / MS Degree / Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field, focusing on natural ingredients and chemical characterization.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant industry experience in regulatory affairs related to natural products and botanical knowledge.
  • Understanding of global chemical compliance, classification, and regulations (e.g., cosmetics, detergents).
  • Familiarity with legislation like REACH and experience with databases such as SAP EH&S.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, analytical techniques, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes for natural ingredients.
  • Business-oriented mindset, project management experience, and a rigorous approach.
