An international consulting firm is seeking an Energy Economist to support its Energy department. The role involves managing large-scale projects, developing client networks, and ensuring high-quality execution. Candidates should have extensive experience in energy efficiency and renewable energy, with fluency in English and French. Our client is an international consulting firm supporting major institutions in implementing projects with significant socio-economic and environmental impact. To support the growth of its Energy department, the company is recruiting a : Energy Economist (M / F)PERMANENT CONTRACT - PAU (Head Office) / FULL REMOTE - €55-65KReporting to the Energy & Communication Technologies division, you will work on large-scale international projects, leveraging your technical expertise and ability to manage complex assignments. You will play a key role in both business development and ensuring the quality execution of projects, interacting closely with clients, partners, experts, and internal teams.Your main responsibilities will include : - Identifying and responding to international energy-related tenders by drafting technical and financial proposals- Developing and maintaining a network of partners and clients- Managing projects end-to-end : planning, budget tracking, contract compliance, and deliverable quality- Producing technical reports that meet client standards and quality requirements- Selecting, coordinating, and supervising local experts and partners, both in France and abroad- Contributing to the design and implementation of energy efficiency solutionsThis position requires frequent travel in France and internationally.
You hold a higher education degree in engineering, energy, or a related field. You have over 10 years of experience in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy, including at least 5 years in a consulting role.You have worked on projects funded by international donors and have strong expertise in economic and financial analysis. You have in-depth knowledge of energy optimization in buildings and industr y, as well as solutions based on photovoltaic and biomass technologies.You are comfortable drafting technical and financial proposals and are able to work effectively as part of a team in an international environment.You are autonomous, meticulous, and possess strong analytical skills.
