Redstone Commodity Search is working with a major metals producer looking to hire a HR Manager to join the team in Iceland.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for all HR activities on the site, including employee relations, talent management, performance, and developing the plant reward & recognition strategy.
• Directly manage 5 HR professionals to ensure a strong team environment and prioritize company interests.
• Drive the collective negotiation agreement process and build union relations.
• Liaise with leadership and advise on team building and development opportunities to maximize company efficiency.
• Role reports to the HR Director.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 5+ years of experience in an HR or operations role in the industrial environment, ideally within the metal space.
• Strong leadership skills required.
• Experience with Icelandic Union law and regulations.
• Fluency required in English and Icelandic.
• Located or willing to relocate to Eastern Iceland.
