Fire & Safety Manager | AYANA BALI

We are in search of a talent with an energetic personality, yet elegant that fulfills the requirements for a Fire & Safety Manager to work with our Engineering team at the finest 5-star luxury resort in Bali.

Summary of Responsibilities:

1. Ensure safety of guests, staff, and property.
2. Ensure that all fire and safety equipment in the establishment are in good shape at all times.
3. Develop well-structured plans for easy evacuation of people in case of a fire outbreak.
4. Conduct training and provide information to co-workers regarding general fire safety rules and procedures.
5. Understand the operational systems of safety devices such as Fire Alarm, Fire Hydrant, Fire Sprinkler, Ansul system, etc.
6. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
7. Conduct regular safety audits.
8. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
9. Inspect and test all safety gear on the premises.
10. Develop positive working relationships with management and other departments' personnel.
11. Conduct regular hotel safety inspections to maintain the safety of guests and employees.
12. Train staff in safety procedures to ensure the safety of all clients.
13. Address diverse problems confronted by the safety department and brainstorm potential solutions.
14. Assist the team in ensuring tasks are performed correctly.
15. Stay up to date with world news, current events, and hospitality safety trends.
16. Arrange regular safety meetings to discuss any issues that arose during the day.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Indonesian Citizen.
2. A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience as a fire safety manager.
3. Excellent communication skills on all fronts (speaking, writing, and listening).
4. Strong interpersonal skills.
5. Alert, observant, and pays keen attention to details at all times.
6. High level of carefulness in carrying out tasks.
7. Ability to work as part of a team.
8. Top-notch organizational abilities.
9. In-depth knowledge of relevant fire safety codes and regulations.
10. Completed fire safety training.
11. Relevant fire investigation certification.
12. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
13. Management and supervisory skills.
14. Advanced training or certification in safety preferred.
15. Associate's degree in Hospitality is preferred.
16. A degree in environmental safety or any related discipline.
