2. Department Overview

The Leveraged Loans & Private Debt department is a cross-border debt platform with approximately 10 billion AUM, based in NYC and Paris. The strategy focuses on investing in the Broadly Syndicated Loans market, primarily rated corporates issuing Term Loan B in LBO transactions. Investment vehicles include CLOs, open-ended funds, and specific mandates. The European strategy also includes private debt investments into MidMarket LBOs and EuroPrivatePlacement transactions. The team comprises Portfolio Managers and credit analysis professionals responsible for monitoring investments.

3. Main Responsibilities (Internship starting January 2025):

• Assist in screening and selecting investment opportunities
• Conduct industry, business, and financial analysis for new transactions
• Build and run cash flow projection models
• Monitor existing investments' performance

4. Candidate Profile

• Postgraduate studies in Finance, Management, or Engineering
• Interest and familiarity with Corporate Finance, LBO transactions
• Previous experience in Private Equity, M&A, Private Debt, High Yield, Debt Origination, Syndication, TS, or Audit
• Efficient, proactive, well-organized, with high attention to detail
• Autonomous, able to respond promptly to urgent requests
• Team-oriented, capable of multitasking and working under pressure, thorough, and able to synthesize information
