Job Responsibilities

1. Play a key role in supervising the Execution SGS/TWM Projects Portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and effective resource management.
2. Lead the team of Project Managers to ensure project completion on time, within scope, and within budget.
3. Ensure consistency of realized projects with the received design from the Design Team.
4. Ensure proper handover of information to the MO Team responsible for operations.
5. Develop and maintain a detailed projects portfolio master plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
6. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, for project alignment and successful execution.
7. Identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues during the project lifecycle.
8. Communicate project status, progress, and changes to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
9. Ensure all projects adhere to company standards and best practices.
10. Track and monitor project performance, ensuring adherence to KPIs, and advise on deviations with plans for recovery.
11. Determine critical requirements from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
12. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.

Recommended Profile

• Master's Degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Program Manager or similar role, managing complex projects successfully.
• Experience managing and developing direct reports.
• Experience coordinating work groups and resources.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with water treatment technologies including Design, Construction, Commissioning, and start-up.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership ability to motivate teams and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Context / Environment

• The jobholder reports functionally to the Central Engineering Manager within the Sustainable Growth Organization.
• Coordinates activities of Project Managers dedicated to executing new SGS/TWM solutions, reporting to the jobholder.
• Ensures proper workload distribution within the team.
• Maintains periodic communication on project performance to both external (customers) and internal (senior management and leadership).
• Monitors team performance, highlighting needs and risks to senior management.
• This position is home-based in Spain.
• Familiarity with water treatment processes (Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration, MBR, etc.) and wastewater technologies (DAF, flocculation, biological treatment) is preferred.
• Experience with plant operation & maintenance is advantageous.
• Proficiency with engineering drawings (P&ID, mass balance, general arrangement, data sheets, troubleshooting lists, etc.).
• Tracks and follows up on project KPIs to ensure financial performance aligns with team goals, with periodic updates to senior management.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Projects or equivalent.
• Awareness of Safety & Environmental legislation in Europe and CE certification requirements.
