Position Overview :

We are seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst based in Paris or Lyon to support growth in our portfolio.

This is a full-time, remote position with occasional hybrid work requirements in Paris or Lyon. Flexibility in working hours is appreciated to accommodate meetings across different time zones including Europe, the USA, and Canada.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Supporting Omegro’s M&A activities as part of the European M&A team.
  2. Origination: Engaging with the Corporate Development team to identify and drive opportunities with target companies.
  3. Indicative Valuation: Building relationships with targets, requesting data, developing high-level valuation models, proposing deal structures, and optimizing deal value strategies; preparing indicative offers.
  4. LOI Preparation: Creating multi-scenario valuation models, including key assumptions and value drivers; preparing and negotiating Letters of Intent.
  5. Due Diligence: Coordinating data collection, supporting comprehensive due diligence across various business functions, and preparing Investment Memorandums for approval.
  6. Performing other related duties as required.

Travel domestically and internationally may be required, and flexibility in work hours is essential.

Candidate Profile :

This entry-level role is suitable for a motivated Finance Graduate with 2+ years of relevant industry experience and a strong interest in M&A. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, valuation methodologies, project management, transaction structuring, and due diligence.
  • Exposure to or experience in the technology or software sectors.
  • Strong commercial judgment and an understanding of how acquisitions fit within a portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in French and English; additional languages (Spanish, German, Italian) are a plus.
