Description du poste

IT Desktop Support (Backfill) - On-site in Paris

Languages: French and English

Technical Skills:

  1. 2 to 5 years of experience providing IT infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues, ensuring compliance with hardware warranty and security requirements.
  2. Hands-on experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, printers, laptops, and other peripherals.
  3. Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts.
  4. Ability to lift/move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  5. Skilled in desk-side support, PC repair, and basic Windows OS administration.
  6. Experience with anti-spyware and anti-virus software.
  7. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
  8. Support for peripherals and networking hardware, including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, and racks under 'Smart Hands' capability.
  9. Strong troubleshooting skills using deductive reasoning.
  10. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with clients and management.
  11. Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks on time.
  12. Preferred: Associate's Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
  13. Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
  14. Basic troubleshooting of Mobile Device Management systems (Airwatch, Xenmobile, MobileIron).
  15. Basic understanding of VDI, SCCM, LANDesk, Altris, Skype for Business, and OneDrive.
