IT Desktop Support (Backfill) - On-site in Paris
Languages: French and English
Technical Skills:
- 2 to 5 years of experience providing IT infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues, ensuring compliance with hardware warranty and security requirements.
- Hands-on experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, printers, laptops, and other peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts.
- Ability to lift/move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Skilled in desk-side support, PC repair, and basic Windows OS administration.
- Experience with anti-spyware and anti-virus software.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
- Support for peripherals and networking hardware, including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, and racks under 'Smart Hands' capability.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using deductive reasoning.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with clients and management.
- Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks on time.
- Preferred: Associate's Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Basic troubleshooting of Mobile Device Management systems (Airwatch, Xenmobile, MobileIron).
- Basic understanding of VDI, SCCM, LANDesk, Altris, Skype for Business, and OneDrive.
