Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead activity plans for customer projects, overseeing the development of new brake systems and product enhancements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, testing, simulation, manufacturing) to achieve project goals and timelines.
  • Lead testing activities within the NVH team (laboratory and test benches) and synthesize findings for internal and external customers.
  • Investigate and resolve NVH issues related to brake applications to ensure product quality.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet NVH milestones.

NVH Research and Development:

  • Drive internal NVH projects to improve knowledge and competencies by defining objectives, milestones, and resource needs.
  • Apply advanced NVH testing, analysis, and simulation techniques to diagnose and mitigate NVH issues in braking systems.

Process Optimization:

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for NVH testing and product design, incorporating industry best practices.
  • Improve procedures and methodologies to anticipate automotive market changes and meet industrial challenges.

Work Relations:

  • Report hierarchically to the NVH team Manager and functionally to the Product Engineer.
  • Collaborate within the NVH team and with other departments such as Simulation, Vehicle Testing, and Design.
  • Support communication with external customers and partners.

Technical Knowledge Requirements:

  • Master's Degree or Engineering Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with NVH specialization, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in NVH.
  • Proven experience leading complex projects.
  • Solid knowledge of chassis component design, preferably brake systems.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and programming is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal); German-speaking skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with standards such as IATF 16949.
  • Initiative and autonomy.
