Join our Energy Transition department as our new Chief Consultant for Layout of compressor stations for PtX gas infrastructure and transmission of green gases, and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.

Your new role

As our Chief Consultant for compressor stations, you will support growing client demand for studies and design of compressor stations for transmission, storage, and distribution systems. Your focus will be on natural gas compression and transmission, as well as compressor stations for green gases like H2, CO2, O2, and biogas, aligned with our clients’ sustainable transition.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and maintaining expertise in compressor station design
2. Supporting clients with high-level cost and time estimates
3. Serving as technical lead on medium to large projects within international green gas teams
4. Collaborating closely with Project Managers to ensure quality and deadlines are met
5. Interacting with clients and stakeholders to advise on technical solutions and layout
6. Becoming a focal point and mentor for compressor station design to ensure quality and efficiency

The team is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services globally within the energy sector, focusing on green energy transition projects including layout, design, and execution of large onshore pipeline systems.

About you

We support your personal and professional growth from day one. For this role, we seek candidates with the following qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

• A Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering
• Cross-disciplinary knowledge including advisory and layout expertise
• At least 8 years of experience in design and execution of compressor stations
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of compression
• Extensive knowledge of compressor station components and layouts
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects
• Excellent oral and written English skills
