Role Overview:
Our client, a world leader in their field, is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative Site Security Specialist. The role involves implementing the Global Site Security Program, mitigating risks, and protecting personnel, assets, and operations across European sites. The candidate will foster a culture of security excellence and innovation, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee the Site Security Program across designated sites, aligning with global standards.
- Evaluate and report on security measures, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support the Site Security Program Lead in enhancing global strategies and managing projects.
- Collaborate with Regional & Country Security Managers, Site Leads, Security Officers, Procurement, Facilities, M&A teams, etc.
- Promote security awareness and engagement organization-wide.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment with stakeholders.
- Support security governance initiatives, including Communities of Practice, process improvements, and tools.
- Maintain and enhance the global site security assessment database.
- Contribute to training program development for Security Professionals and key site functions.
- Participate in site assessments and collaborate with law enforcement as needed.
- Engage in regional security initiatives and global networks.
- Provide on-site support during critical incidents across Europe.
The Person:
- Proven experience in corporate or site security roles.
- Strong knowledge of physical security, access control, risk assessment, and response protocols.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication skills in English.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
- Experience in cross-cultural and matrix environments.
- High integrity, transparency, and accountability.
- Interest in security innovations and emerging trends (e.g., AI).
