Role Overview
The Senior Sales Director is responsible for establishing, building and nurturing contact with large sized, named accounts to meet quota and facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship.
This role is responsible for new business sales delivery for Broadridge’s enterprise services to Asset Management clients/prospects in France.
Responsibilities
- Establish, build and maintain contact with Tier 1, 2 and 3 Asset Managers/Alternative
- Managers and Asset Servicers based in France to meet individual quotas and facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship.
- Identify prospective new opportunities within the territory via industry events, cold calling, networking, cross-selling, etc.
- Products / Solutions include:
-Portfolio/Trade Order management technology supporting portfolio managers, traders and investment operations teams at leading asset/alternative asset managers
-Data Analytic Solutions for Product/Strategy and Distribution teams at Asset Managers to assist in optimizing product management, strategy and sales.
-Regulatory reporting solutions that help Asset Managers comply with regulations in the UK and EU.
-Corporate Actions Solutions that optimize Proxy Voting and Securities Class Actions processing for Asset managers and Asset Owners
- Support and contribute to the Sales/Account Action Plan.
- Maintain and track a sales pipeline report to monitor new opportunities' sales life cycle.
- Engage in Initial contact and prospect qualification.
- Lead or support, as appropriate, the presenting Broadridge service offering to identified prospects.
- Participate in set-up and execution of requirements/scoping meetings.
- Assist with drafting a formal response to any prospect-generated Request for Proposals.
- Obtaining due diligence documentation from prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal Legal department to agree and sign contracts
- Work with the Conversions team to ensure the successful go-live of new clients.
- Maintain appropriate records of all prospecting and sales activity.
- Conduct frequent trips throughout EMEA for sales meetings and representing
- Broadridge at seminars, trade shows and industry events as appropriate.
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in selling software and/or services to French based Asset Managers
- Existing industry network and track record of big-ticket sales within the Asset Management industry
- Domain knowledge/awareness in buyside workflows regulation and technology across the Front/Middle and Back office
- Gravitas to engage at senior management/C-suite at clients and develop long-term relationships
- Fluency in French and English
- Relevant Financial Services software sales experience
- Experience in working with Asset Managers/Services
- Experience in international markets
- Experience in working across matrix organizations
- Highly commercial, analytical and strategic mindset
