Job Description:
Your Responsibilities
  • Teaching the assigned academic modules according to the curriculum.
  • Administering, proctoring, and marking all students' assignments and exam papers of all assigned classes.
  • Amending or designing and developing a new curriculum for a Module if required.
  • Updating a syllabus or syllabi if required.
  • Supervising dissertations per academic year (if required).
  • Providing consultation and mentoring to students.
  • Creating assignment briefs and exam papers.
  • Providing feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence.
  • Teaching study skills relevant to programmes and exam strategies.
  • Providing private instruction to individuals or small groups as needed.
  • Assessing students' progress throughout tutoring sessions.
  • Scheduling tutoring appointments with students.
  • Monitoring student performance and assisting in academic environments.
  • Organizing the tutoring environment to promote productivity and learning.
  • Participating in training to improve tutoring practices.
  • Communicating effectively with students and conveying passion for learning.
  • Maintaining records of assessments, progress, and feedback securely.
  • Preparing lesson plans or learning modules according to programme needs.
  • Designing teaching materials to maximize student experience.
  • Developing content, both written and recorded, as directed.
  • Recommending textbooks, software, and learning materials.
  • Communicating student progress through reports and various channels.
  • Developing intervention strategies and individualized education plans.
  • Handling administrative tasks related to teaching activities.
  • Providing feedback on student progress.
  • Promoting the School proactively.
  • Supporting students in developing assignments.
  • Participating in school activities as required.
Your profile

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • PhD or DBA (Master's degree or MBA in specific cases)
  • Prior teaching experience in higher education at university level
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, MS Office suite, and Microsoft Teams
  • Scientific publications in a related discipline
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level)
  • French language skills are desirable
  • Knowledge of educational platforms (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard)
  • Familiarity with timetabling software
  • Knowledge of study regulations and rules
