A key function of the role will be to provide analytical support and manage reporting to the Sales team. This will include providing reporting to the Commercial team, enabling them to make informed business decisions, increase effectiveness and efficiency, and better execute their commercial strategy.
You will work closely with the Senior Financial Analyst and establish effective and trusted business partnering with Brown-Forman’s Key Account Managers.
This is an office/hybrid role (4 days a week in office).
What You Can Expect
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Validate the monthly Stripped Net Sales and analyze the main effects.
- Provide analytical support by preparing meaningful and actionable reporting.
- Revise all components of the Stripped Net Sales (trade agreements, discounts, etc.) during the budget or forecasting periods in collaboration with the KAM and the Sales department.
- Conduct profitability analysis on product and customer level.
- Perform financial modeling to support the KAM with their annual negotiation and daily commercial management.
Pricing & Promotions Strategy:
- Assist the Senior Financial Analyst in driving forward the pricing and promotions strategy along with the Sales Department.
- Build Price Structure for the Marketing or Sales departments to support innovation launches.
Financial Tools:
- Verify that all customers are properly set up and included in the correct hierarchy.
- Ensure timely and accurate set-up and change of rebates in the SAP system.
- Maintain all financial tools (SAP & Kams – budgeting tool) with accurate information.
- Check consistency of the financial data of your perimeter of responsibility and fix any issues in collaboration with other departments (accounting, finance, IT, etc.).
Assist Finance Manager with Tasks as Needed:
- Support other members of the Finance team during vacation leave or any increased activity period.
- Handle ad-hoc requests.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent).
- Certifications: Finance.
- Experience: First experience in Finance controlling (apprenticeship/internship accepted).
- Prior experience in Wine and Spirits or Luxury FMCG industries is a plus.
- Experience with sales problematics is highly appreciated.
