Qualifications

Description du poste

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Operational Business Partner to collaborate closely with key members of the C-suite, including the Head of Operations, Chief Technology Officer, and Head of Product. This role will involve analysing business efficiency, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring insightful and timely reporting to drive business performance. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Head of FP&A, delivering insightful analytics to provide performance clarity to investors and senior leadership.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES
  1. Business Partnering: Serve as a strategic business partner to C-suite members, particularly the Head of Operations, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and Head of Product, providing support and financial insights to drive decision-making.
  2. Efficiency Analysis: Lead the analysis of operational efficiency across the business and identify areas for cost reduction, process improvement, and performance optimization.
  3. KPI Tracking: Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility into business performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  4. Return on Investment (ROI) Playbook: Develop and implement a standardized ROI playbook to evaluate project investments, new initiatives, and strategic business cases, ensuring value generation.
  5. Dashboard Implementation & Automation: Design and maintain performance dashboards using tools like PowerBI and SQL to automate reporting and provide real-time insights into business performance. Implement automated reporting systems, minimizing manual intervention and ensuring accurate, up-to-date information is available for business decision-making. PowerBI and SQL are not a requirement for this role but would be advantageous.
  6. Business Case Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of all business cases presented by various departments to ensure financial rigor, feasibility, and alignment with strategic priorities.
  7. Support to FP&A Team: Collaborate with the Head of FP&A in providing detailed and insightful analytics that track and analyse company performance, assisting with reporting to investors and the broader leadership team.

Please note that the responsibilities outlined above are indicative of the role and its expectations but are not exhaustive. The Operational Business Partner may be required to take on additional duties and responsibilities as the business evolves and new challenges arise.

Professional Background
  1. Financial support within a field of plan experience.
  2. A strong understanding of financial modelling, business case reviews, and performance analytics.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (CFA, CIMA) are a plus.
Skills & Abilities
  1. Fluent written and spoken English and French.
  2. Willingness to travel to operational sites (Shanghai (China), Chennai (India), Mexico City, Hary (Northern France)).
  3. Analytical mindset with a focus on operational efficiency.
  4. Self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships across departments.
  7. Results-oriented, with a track record of driving change and improvements within business operations.
