Position: Sports Data Analytics Manager

BettingJobs is currently recruiting for a Sports Data Analytics Manager for a leading gambling operator. The role is remote-based with minimal travel to France every two weeks, or the option to relocate permanently.

Responsibilities:

1. Build, manage, and help grow a team of data analysts.
2. Upskill the team by providing hands-on technical and business guidance to ensure high-quality insights and output.
3. Define the evolution of our analytical strategy on performance analytics, key projects, and data products by identifying high-value opportunities that unlock business potential.
4. Maintain close relationships with stakeholders from business teams and other data departments.
5. Influence business teams to adopt appropriate KPIs and strategies.
6. Deliver insightful analysis with convincing, actionable recommendations that impact the product quickly.
7. Manage 'Risk & liability' data products to support trading teams.
8. Develop recommendation algorithms in collaboration with the Data Science team.
9. Analyze product features performance through state-of-the-art A/B testing.

Requirements:

1. Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent from a top university.
2. Proficiency in SQL and Python.
3. Experience in managing and growing Data Analytics teams.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix environment and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
6. Familiarity with the gaming industry and understanding of the gambling business model and offerings.
