Within the Construction Department, you will report to the Heads of South and Overseas Departments.

In the phases of pre-construction, construction, and post-construction of a lot of a project and/or a wind and/or photovoltaic project, the holder of the position is responsible for defining and monitoring part or all of a construction project, respecting cost, time, quality, and safety constraints.

Your missions include:

  • Initiate and plan the project comprehensively (costs, deadlines, risks, HSE, Quality, project organization, subdivision, procurement strategy, etc.).
  • Monitor and control all expected deliverables in engineering, procurement, and construction preparation.
  • Define and follow technical interface studies between engineering, external design offices/Project Management External (MOE), and contractors to consolidate solutions.
  • Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Preparation activities according to group policies and internal project management systems (EPIC).
  • Conduct private market consultations for works and services, analyze offers, and select companies/suppliers.
  • Participate in negotiations related to commercial, technical aspects with the buyer, external MOE, and a legal advisor, and prepare contracts for signing with companies/suppliers.
  • Manage and coordinate all contracts to assess technical, operational, and financial risks before signing.
  • Handle administrative and regulatory aspects of project management, such as control office, prior declaration, etc., to start work on-site.
  • Oversee and follow up on commitments of contractors, network managers for electricity and telecom concerning design, manufacturing, transportation, works, and commissioning.
  • Monitor any claims with the insurance team.

Many travel opportunities are expected within France.

Experience: 1 to 3 years in project management within the renewable energy sector as a Project Manager.

Ideally, professional experience in construction, project costing, or EPC contract management in the construction or energy sector with an project owner or construction company.

Education: General Engineer, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (e.g., ENSAM, Mines Paris, INSA, etc.).

Languages: Fluent in English.

Desired qualities: Commitment, good negotiator, rigor, excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, adaptability, team leadership, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize.

Driving license B required.
