Airbus Headquarters is seeking a HO Export Control Programme Office (f/m) to join our E&C Business Programmes & Culture department in Toulouse, France.

The position reports to the Head of Ethics & Compliance Programmes and collaborates closely with the Head of Export Control.

Role overview:

The Head of Export Control Programme is responsible for managing risks related to Export Control and Sanctions by developing policies, providing training, overseeing policy deployment, fostering a compliance culture, and representing Airbus in relevant forums.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of 17 export control advisors and managers globally.
  • Advising and aligning with regional export control managers.
  • Identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
  • Designing and updating export control policies and guidelines.
  • Implementing new technologies and digital solutions.
  • Developing and deploying export control training programs.
  • Managing the Export Control Point of Contact network.
  • Providing regulatory updates and guidance on sanctions and embargoes.
  • Leading classification strategies and managing export control transactions.
  • Coordinating the export control program roadmap and actions.
  • Representing Airbus externally on export compliance topics.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Export Control, Law, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Export Control or Trade Compliance, preferably in aerospace.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills in English; French is a plus.
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
