Are you highly experienced as a data architect, including implementing functional and technical architectures within a financial environment? Do you have expertise in data modelling techniques, embracing conceptual, logical and physical modelling? Are you ready to play a key role in shaping data architecture? Supporting business analysts in qualifying requirements to support enhancements, and implementing project scoping activities, you’ll help build robust and effective data solutions.

In this role, you will help analyse and compare technologies, propose practical solutions to meet data users’ evolving requirements and produce estimates to support your recommendations. In particular, you will assess gaps and suggest enhancements to existing semantic data models on a conceptual, logical and physical level, whilst contributing to design documents and technical specifications.

To join us, you should bring :

• A postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, with a data specialization.
• An excellent command of relational database design, normalization, and denormalization using SQL.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, ideally backed by TOGAF certification.
• Experience in producing architectural diagrams and maintaining reference cartography.
• Proven ability to translate cybersecurity and regulatory compliance requirements into architectural designs.
• In-depth knowledge of patterns and experience in integration architectures (real-time or near-real-time, API, and file-based).
• Exposure to NoSQL databases and modeling for unstructured data.
• Awareness of the main types of operational and analytical data architectures (MDM, data warehouse, data mart, data lake, and lakehouse).
• Full fluency in either English or French, with a commitment to reaching a good working level in the other language.

In addition, the following would be very useful :

• Sound knowledge of data engineering practices (ETL, ELT) and technologies such as Python, Spark, and SQL.
• Certification in or experience with Azure cloud.
• Familiarity with Microsoft data technologies (Fabric, Power BI, Purview).
