International Junior Packaging Purchaser supporting the Global Packaging Category Purchasing Manager in the following areas:

Procurement:

1. Analyze Saint-Gobain needs and define specifications with internal customers.
2. Identify potential savings through sourcing new suppliers or packaging alternatives, process optimization, VA / VE analysis, and supplier panel rationalization; propose industrial trials in coordination with R&D and local countries.
3. Launch global tenders using the Saint-Gobain e-tool.
4. Analyze offers, prepare, and lead negotiations, with potential supervision from the Global Packaging Category Purchasing Manager.
5. Draft purchasing contracts with legal department support.
6. Monitor contract implementation and evaluate suppliers using Prosource-SRM e-tools and develop CSR assessments.
7. Screen market evolutions to anticipate inflation and supply disruption risks.
8. Identify supplier risks such as dependency, single-source, and financial health.
9. Perform SWOT analyses and utilize Porter and Kraljic matrices for each portfolio.
10. Manage supply shortages and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with suppliers.

Sustainability:

1. Manage communication with countries following recommendations from the Sustainable Packaging Steering Committee via TEAMS, Yammer, and webinars.
2. Support countries in their sustainable packaging roadmaps through workshops.
3. Contribute to developing piloting tools related to sustainability, such as CO2 dashboards, CO2 bridges, and KPI tracking.
4. Work closely with suppliers to achieve sustainable packaging objectives, including CO2 reduction, recyclability, and recycled content incorporation.
