System and Network Administrator (m / f / d)

Location: Stuttgart, Germany

Position: Employee (full-time, limited to two years)

Overview

We are the largest sports club in Baden-Württemberg, comprising departments for athletics, field hockey, fistball, table tennis, and soccer. Known as the Weiß-Roten, the boys and girls from Cannstatt, we have a rich tradition since 1893. With nearly 250 employees, modern structures, and a passion for our club's history, we are an employer with heart. We seek dedicated individuals who share our enthusiasm.

Tasks

1. Administer, develop further, and ensure high-availability operation of the digital infrastructure and user/end device management.
2. Automate operational processes.
3. Participate in digital infrastructure projects.
4. Provide 2nd level support.
5. Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft products (e.g., Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365).
6. Document the system environment continuously.
7. Ensure IT operations during match days and events at MHP Arena.

Qualifications

1. Completed training in IT, e.g., IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification.
2. Basic knowledge of server and network administration.
3. Experience with firewalls, VPN, mail servers, storage systems, on-premise virtualization, cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS), web and application servers, and databases.
4. Motivated, reliable, flexible, proactive, eager to learn, team-oriented, and hands-on mentality.
5. Enjoy varied tasks and interesting projects within a young team.
