Job title: Senior Software Platform Engineer

**We have multiple positions open in Software Platform Engineering**

• Location: Lyon
• Hybrid (2 days off site, 3 days on site)

About the job

Our Team: In the Accelerator's Platform Team

In a nutshell, a platform team creates the foundational layers and core building blocks of a company’s products. We do not provide direct value to the business, but support and enable all other technical teams to focus on their productivity. The platform team also seeks to find ways for multiple teams to collaborate on cross-project solutions that can be reused by all.

More concretely, a platform can be at different levels of granularity:

• * CI configs and rules used by other teams

• * IaC, tooling to deploy and monitor resources in the Cloud

• * Development environment, tools, and shared libraries

• * Help define global system architecture/security

• * Core abstractions (data model, business modeling) API/SDKs

Job Description:

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Improve the Developer Experience

• Reduce the technical overhead for squads/pods

• Prototype solutions that could set new standards, then deploy them!

• Support and assist all teams as needed

• Build various tools across environments (CLI, libraries, IaC, workflows)

• Work on anything you believe can make a difference!

• Create documentation and recommendations on building Cloud Native solutions

• Advocate for the solutions developed

About you

Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications

You don't need to check all the points! If you fit only a few, that's more than enough. But expect to work on most of these points during your daily tasks :)

• A thirst for knowledge

• Experience working with Cloud Providers

• Good understanding of JavaScript / Node.js

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, or others)

• Knowledge of building libraries and tools

• Knowledge of complex API systems (networking, redundancy, security, logging...)

• Keen to work in a cross-team environment

• Help and support other teams

• Knowledge of transversal activities (security, optimization, processes, etc.) is a plus

• English proficiency is mandatory as we are an international team!

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Your background

• 6+ years of experience, but applications are welcome if you believe you possess the necessary knowledge — this is not a strict blocker.

• No diploma required, but a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering is a plus.

• Experience in innovative or disruptive environments

• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
