Job Description:

Accelerator - Digital Data Scientist - All Gender

Main responsibilities:

• Work with business teams to understand requirements, and translate them into technical needs.
• Apply data science expertise in machine learning, statistics, forecasting, and optimization to multiple AI projects/products.
• Gather/organize large & complex data assets, perform analysis, and propose data models for each business case.
• Build models, algorithms, simulations, and experiments using optimized code and state-of-the-art machine learning technologies.
• Conduct ML experiments and deliver production-ready models.
• Use data analysis, visualization, storytelling, and data technologies to scope, define, and deliver AI-based data products.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, and MLOps teams to implement AI/ML solutions.

Experience:

• Experience developing deployable code and deploying models in an agile, product-focused environment.
• Proven track record applying machine learning/deep learning to solve molecule-related problems.
• Experience with database mining, big data, virtual screening, Bayesian Optimization, or Gaussian Processes is desirable.
• Expertise with sensitive data in healthcare, defense, or similar environments.
• Experience in healthcare is a strong plus.
• Ability to work with multiple teams to drive results.
• Self-motivated, proactive, problem solver, critical thinker.

Technical skills:

• Expertise in business analysis, data visualization, and storytelling.
• Proficiency with core data science languages (Python, R, Scala) and database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Knowledge in supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, LLMs, reinforcement learning, Bayesian stats, optimization.
• Comfortable with cloud and high-performance computing (AWS, GCP, Databricks, Spark).
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML modeling, CI/CD, orchestration.
• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, or similar tools.
• Experience with enterprise APIs.
• Understanding of AI regulations.

Education:

• PhD in a quantitative discipline (mathematics, CS, engineering, physics, statistics, economics) with coding skills, or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
