What you’ll do
- This position offers experienced Database and Applications administrators the opportunity to lead the analysis, planning, and execution of all primary administrative functions for both Production and Non-Production environments within Oracle Energy and Water Application Installation, Administration, and Maintenance.
- Provide 24x7 production support for Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases on various platforms.
- Support the complete stack including database, middleware (WebLogic, SOA), applications (OUAF apps like CCB, MDM, WAM, and MWM), OS, and cloud infrastructure.
- Support cloud infrastructure (IaaS) activities in Oracle Cloud.
- Proactively administer and monitor batch orchestration.
- Proactively monitor and tune database performance.
- Manage change and release processes, business continuity, and capacity planning.
- Perform database backup, recovery, cloning, and refreshes using RMAN and Data Pump.
- Provide status reports to project managers and team leads.
- Create documentation for technical methodologies.

What you will bring
- Experience with DBA responsibilities such as installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, backup (cold and hot), recovery, cloning, space management, security, auditing, troubleshooting, database design, and support.
- Expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting high-availability production databases in 24/7 environments.
- Experience with Linux flavors (Solaris, Linux, AIX).
- In-depth knowledge of OEM, including installation, agents, monitoring, alert setup, and report generation.
- Proficiency in capturing and analyzing AWR reports, with making performance improvement recommendations.
- At least two years of experience in SQL and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Delivery and Support functions is a plus.
- Strong written and spoken French and English skills.
- Ability to travel and work onsite with Oracle customers.
