Job Description:
Your role

As Sr Production Manager, you will ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently. As a steering committee member, your main mission will include making decisions about the site master plan, assessing global site resource requirements, ensuring compliance with the Code Of Conduct and Anti-bribery and corruption policies, and maintaining internal/external networks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, fine-tuning, and organizing production schedules, and renegotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
  • Assessing project and resource requirements
  • Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing on budgets and timescales with finance and senior management
  • Determining quality control standards with the quality department regarding MAH
  • Overseeing production processes to ensure proper use of free corridor standards
  • Assisting operational purchasers in selecting and ordering materials
  • Organizing repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
  • Supervising junior staff work
  • Organizing relevant training sessions
  • Improving Lean manufacturing expertise
  • Hiring personnel

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business management, production engineering, or a relevant discipline
  • French language skills are an asset
  • Approximately 10 years of broad experience in roles involving production, logistics, and/or supply management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work within a matrix organization and build relationships with internal stakeholders across production, supply, quality, maintenance, HR, finance, CI teams, HSE, and logistics

As a person, you enjoy managing diverse and sometimes complex production processes. You are a good communicator, proactive in reaching out to stakeholders, and capable of working independently to build trustful relationships across the business.
