Position overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer & Channel Proximity IT Specialist to join our Southern Europe IT Solutions team. The team is mainly based in Madrid, but the vacant position is in Marseille. This role serves as a strategic interface between business stakeholders in sales and e-commerce and the global IT function, ensuring alignment between business needs and technological capabilities.

This is a functional, business-oriented role rather than a technical one. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison, ensuring smooth adoption and optimization of digital tools and processes within the organization.

Key responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary IT liaison for the French Sales, e-commerce and Maison Yellow teams, ensuring that business needs are effectively gathered and translated into actionable IT requests.
  • Support the evaluation and potential deployment of projects in other Southern European markets, aligning with regional business priorities and ensuring seamless integration.
  • Analyze and document business requirements, facilitating their implementation within the global IT framework.
  • Collaborate with the global IT team to prioritize and allocate resources for system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Oversee the adoption and optimization of Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud (SFA tool) and Magento (e-commerce platform).
  • Lead user acceptance testing and validate quality assurance testing to ensure system efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive the adoption of global IT solutions within the French sales organization, ensuring alignment with local business processes.
  • Conduct training sessions, prepare documentation, and promote best practices to facilitate seamless system integration.
  • Act as an intermediary for IT incident escalation, ensuring that functional issues are effectively diagnosed and addressed by the global IT team.

Candidate profile :

  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory. Proficiency in additional Southern European languages (Spanish, Italian, Greek) is an asset.
  • Proven experience in sales, business operations, or IT functional roles, ideally within the consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, including on-trade, off-trade, and e-commerce.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud or other CRM tools is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Magento or similar) is advantageous.
  • Proactive and independent approach, with the ability to work autonomously while driving initiatives effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with both technical and business teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong project management capabilities, comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment.
