Job Description

Join a dynamic company specializing in high value-added services and actively contribute to its development in Europe! As part of launching a new service offering, our client is looking for a Business Development Manager (H/F).

Your main mission will be to increase revenue by identifying new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with key sector players (pharma, biotech, medtech...).

Responsibilities
  1. Business Development:
  • Prospect new clients across Europe
  • Make initial contacts, qualify leads, and initiate commercial relationships
  • Arrange client meetings and understand their scientific and technical needs
  • Present company services and build tailored proposals
  • Negotiate offers and close contracts
  • Participate in trade shows and professional events to increase visibility
  • Market Monitoring & Strategy:
    • Analyze market potential, identify trends and opportunities
    • Monitor competitors and client needs, contribute to service evolution
    • Provide regular sales activity reports
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with technical experts and internal teams to ensure project feasibility
    • Support the sales administration team in preparing quotes
    • Relay detected opportunities outside your scope
  • Client Relations:
    • Maintain trust-based relationships with clients during project execution
    • Anticipate future needs and ensure post-project follow-up
    Candidate Profile

    What you bring:

    Education & Experience
    • Scientific degree (Master or PhD) in biotechnologies, pharmacy, biology, or life sciences
    • Confirmed experience (minimum 5 years) in business development within fields like central lab, testing, CRO, preclinical, clinical development, CMC, toxicology, medical devices, regulatory affairs, etc.
    • International or multicultural environment experience is appreciated
    Languages

    Fluent English is essential (regular communication with international clients)
