Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions is a leader in the fluid power industry, with components commonly used in mobile and industrial applications. Building customer loyalty is core to our strategy.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Account Manager. The goal is to achieve profitable sales targets and market expansion to support strategic growth plans within the French territory.

As a self-driven Account Manager, you will be responsible for the profitability of sales and customer relationships of assigned Distribution Accounts. You will plan, coordinate, and execute all sales efforts to achieve objectives and obtain a portfolio share while maintaining a professional relationship with each customer and working closely with Danfoss Business Units.

This position can be fully remote.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement targeted growth plans by exploring diverse, profitable opportunities and leveraging value-based selling techniques to address customer needs, fostering strong customer relationships to surpass objectives.
  2. Identify and develop new sales opportunities through effective management of our CRM system.
  3. Recognize and address diverse customer needs, offering tailored solutions aligned with Divisions’ goals and values.
  4. Lead and coordinate internal and external meetings and events with stakeholders and partners, promoting current solutions and innovations to maximize market penetration.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless support and communication, managing indirect customer relations and prioritizing customer satisfaction to drive sales growth.
  6. Work closely with global product management, supply chain, and R&D departments to ensure transparent and timely communication with partners, respecting cultural and organizational practices.
  7. Monitor competitors, track market shifts, and report on technological trends to inform strategy development.
  8. Establish significant connections with key decision-makers at all levels of customer organizations.
Background & Skills
  1. Educational background in Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  2. Over 3 years of experience in similar roles within middle-structured international environments, preferably in manufacturing; experience in hydraulics is a plus.
  3. Experience managing the commercial aspects of a structured distributor network, especially in the French market.
  4. Ability to operate effectively in complex, international settings.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills, influencing high-level engagement, and building relationships; a team player.
  6. Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.
  7. Willing to travel.
  8. Curious, self-motivated, and proactive.
