Scope :
We are looking for a skilled KEY ACCOUNT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, who will take the lead on our Long-Term Retardant market in the EMEA region:
- Reinforce relationships with existing Key Customers (Governmental Agencies).
- Create and execute an Action Plan to increase market share by establishing new partnerships with Wildfire Fighting actors (aircraft bodybuilders, aerial operators, and first responders’ contractors).
- Develop the Prevention market with public and private entities to diversify our contribution to biodiversity and property preservation and protection.
- Identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and help business growth in the EMEA region for firefighting industry solutions and services.
Responsibilities :
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs, ensuring their satisfaction with products or services to prevent them from turning to competition.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and strategizing to expand the company's footprint in the market.
- Analyzing competitor activities and market dynamics, adjusting account strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Preparing regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal stakeholders using key account metrics.
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer support, to deliver exceptional services.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or similar in Sales / Business Administration / Engineering is required; a Master and/or advanced degree is preferred.
- Professional fluency in English is mandatory; native languages could be either Spanish or French (all three would be a strong asset).
- 5 or more years of experience working in a multinational manufacturing company is required; chemicals industry experience is highly preferred.
- Experience working with public administration or governmental agencies, preferably in the firefighting/disaster relief environment and local government offices, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.
- Solid knowledge in costing and accounting is required, along with a recognized track record of success in key account management.
- The candidate will be based either in Spain or France. The position will require 30%+ travel in the EMEA region.
